Anime Art Spotlight – Kikariz Pokemon Art

One of the best anime artists, and maybe one of the best Pokemon artists, Kikariz has been featured on Deviantart’s main page for a long time now. We’ve even featured him on our CosplayPro Anime Art of the Day feature a couple of times now, but since we can’t really give him the Anime Art of the Day every day, why not just make an anime artist spotlight for him?
For those anime artists out there, Kikariz draws and paints digitally with a medium Wacom Intuos4. He uses PaintTool SAI for drawing and Photoshop for color corrections, textures and effects, and he makes some amazing Pokemon pictures, and in good time. Some of the paintings he has done in only an hour, and they look amazing! Can he draw all Pokemon has to offer?

Cosplay of the Day – 9/27/10

yuegene’s Cosplay of the Day is from the ball jointed doll company, Dream of Dolls. Ball Jointed Dolls are anime influenced dolls that are mostly sold in Japan, South Korea, and China. yuegene’s cosplay is of elf Duncan, a limited edition Dream of Dolls piece. Dream of Dolls pieces are highly customizable, which is one reason so many cosplayers like them, because they can stylize them like a mini version of their own cosplays.
The Dream of Dolls site has this to say about elf Duncan, “Lucifer DUCAN, who tempts God. He holds the power over Aren – the city of water colors, and uses innocents souls for the source of his Black Magic. He got wounded severely during the fight with the priest SHA, so stayed in the outer wall of the city. During his stay, he met this beautiful and innocent girl and hot cured by her, but then he found out that she is the sister of Aren who saves souls with SHA from him and get very confused.”

The cosplay of the day today is a Final Fantasy X group photo. I think they managed to fit every character in there. Just kidding, but seriously, that’s a lot of Final Fantasy X costumes. One of the best FF pictures we could find just for the sheer amount of characters amassed in one shot alone.
Incase your wondering what characters are in there: There’s Yuna, Rikku, Tidus, Lulu, Auron, Elma, Shiva, Anima, Paine, Jecht, Shelinda, Braska, and more. There’s also some alternate versions of the characters like Lulu in the picture too.

What would cosplay be without swords?
Cosplayers and weapons. The two seem to go hand in hand. At every convention, you see some poor kid who just bought his sword being kicked out because swords and the public don’t always get along well together.
And since this is a cosplay site, we at CosplayPro salute these sword bearers.
